Role Overview

Forfos is growing fast and we need a high-performing Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition across Australia and New Zealand. You'll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting e-commerce brands to discovery calls, proposals, and closing — with the support of a proven playbook and a warm inbound stream from our marketing engine.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify e-commerce brands across Amazon, Shopify, and DTC channels in AU/NZ
  • Own the full sales cycle — outreach, discovery, proposal creation, and contract negotiation
  • Conduct compelling discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and present Forfos solutions
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline using HubSpot CRM
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to scope and price new client engagements accurately
  • Represent Forfos at e-commerce events, conferences, and industry webinars
  • Develop partnerships with complementary service providers and technology platforms
  • Report weekly on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience — ideally within agency, SaaS, or e-commerce services
  • Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape (Amazon, Shopify, DTC)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Ability to build genuine relationships and operate with integrity
  • Self-starter mentality with comfort working in a remote, fast-growth environment

Nice to Have

  • Existing network within the Australian e-commerce or retail ecosystem
  • Previous experience selling e-commerce or managed services
  • Understanding of agency pricing models and service scoping
